So.....12 days to go and I will be coming there from USA What is there to do? I was there before but only a few days so I didn't get a chance to see much.

I can hihgly recommend the Zeil Galerie, just walk up to the roof and you'll have a great view over the city ... but you're from Ohio, then maybe skyscrapers aren't that interesting for you

Just visit "Sachsenhausen" and drink an "Äppelwoi" thats what most tourists do, when they come to Frankfurt.
The most popular places to go are the "Römer" where you will meet a lot of tiny little Japanese, Frankfurt int. Fair, the "Zeil" and so on.
At the moment we have the "Stanley Kubrick " exhibition at the Filmmuseum. Just take a walk along the "Main". uff?

And dont forget to visit Bad Homburg its nice.

Ersiehtan: Sounds nice, I think I walked along the Main last time I was there but I really don't remember much because I was drunk walking back to my hotel from a Janus concert hehehehe

Nibelheim: Most definitely!!! Although I do have a ticket to see Oomph on the 4th....Sshhhh! don't tell anyone

My hotel is not too far from the last one I had and at that time (in Dec. 2001) there was some major construction going on by the water. I could see it when I looked out the window and took a few pics. Maybe now I can see what they were building because it looked really big. I'm only going to be in Frankfurt for a week...is that enough time to do everything?

PS Is anyone here going to the Oomph show? I really don't like going to concerts alone although if I have to I do. I'm also going to finally get to see WGT this year, too bad my really favorite bands are not going to be there Still, it should be pretty fun.

Something else to do:

After heavy considerations I was in Gunther von Hagen´s BODYWORLDS, yesterday. The exhibition is in Frankfurt until June. For further information see  http://www.koerperwelten.de.
It was really interesting and not as shocking as I thought it would be. Due to the fact that my girlfriend is a medical student and led me through the exhibtion, I had much more information than there already was.
It´s really worth a visit.

Ouch. There are so many beautiful cities in germany, why choose Frankfurt? I mean, i've benn spending more than 2 years in the area by now, and all i can think of when i'm asked about that city is: dull, ugly, full of psychos, downright dangerous in some parts.
Maybe that's just my attitude, but I'd strogly recommend anything else.
